Buyer terms
v1.0 · Effective 23/08/2026
These Buyer terms apply when you bid, make an offer, use Buy Now, or open a deal. Read the listing. Ask questions on the listing or in messages. Inspect the item before you pay. Meet in public where you can.
Buy Now and offers
Buy Now opens a deal record at the listed price. You pick a payment method the seller accepts. That records your preference. It does not take a unit and it does not collect payment. You still pay the seller the way you both agree.
On a negotiable Buy Now listing you can make an offer. You take turns: the seller accepts, declines, or counters. There is no cap on how many counters, but only one person replies at a time. A new amount on the same listing replaces your pending offer, or answers the seller's counter. A pending offer expires in three days. Accepting records the agreement on mr.bid. It is not a payment through mr.bid.
Bidding
A bid is a commitment to complete the purchase if you win, subject to the Auction rules and Ghana law. Do not bid on something you cannot pay for. The bid, time, and status recorded on mr.bid are the official record. You can place twenty bids every five minutes. There is no cap on how many times you may raise while the auction is live.
After you agree
When both sides agree, mr.bid records the price, handover note, and payment method, and holds one unit so two people cannot take the last one. You still arrange payment yourselves. If the deal is cancelled, the unit is put back. Open a dispute from the deal if something goes wrong. Staff can review the record. They cannot reverse a cash or mobile-money payment we never held.
This policy is part of the Terms of use. MR.BID GH LTD operates mr.bid Ghana. It is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
